The service
PITLANE is a free website for searching and browsing RC (radio-controlled) parts documentation: brands, models, part references and manuals. Some features, such as “My list”, are meant to help you prepare your own parts list.
Account
Browsing and searching do not require an account. Signing in is done with your Google account. You are responsible for the security of that account and for the activity carried out through your session. Administrator features are reserved to authorised people.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or other users' accounts;
- disrupt or overload the service, including through abusive automated requests or scraping;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Content and intellectual property
Manuals, parts catalogues, images, names and trademarks shown on PITLANE belong to their respective manufacturers and rights holders. They are indexed and presented for reference only; PITLANE is not affiliated with or endorsed by these manufacturers. If you are a rights holder and want content removed or corrected, contact us at contact@pitlane-rc.com.
The PITLANE software and original interface elements belong to their author.
No warranty
The service and its content are provided “as is”. Part numbers, specifications, compatibility information and extracted text may be incomplete or wrong, in particular because part of the content is extracted automatically from manuals. Always check against the manufacturer's official documentation before ordering or assembling anything. We do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damage, or for any loss resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the service or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Suspension
We may suspend or delete an account, or restrict access, in case of breach of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
